Peace & War Stories

Freerange’s first-ever featured musician, Zack Orion, performing here at the Lorimer Street subway platform, will play next week at Freerange.

Next wednesday, Freerange will present an evening of Peace & War Stories, starring Peter Bebergal, Daniel Long, and musician Zack Orion. Peter Bebergal is the author of TOO MUCH TO DREAM: A PSYCHEDELIC AMERICAN BOYHOOD and Daniel Long is a recent graduate of Sarah Lawrence’s MFA in Fiction and the fiction editor at the Fiddleback (an excellent journal you should all read and submit to). These two gents are some of the best writers around town these days, and we are very honored to be hosting them both.

The Peace & War Stories evening will also feature a musician, (for the first time ever in Freerange history!) the one-man-band phenom Zack Orion.

Today we also present to you the exceptional Both Ways by Sarah Fishtein in Freshly Hatched, our online journal. You can always find our newest essays and interviews at the links to the right of this post, and we are always excepting submissions!

See you next Wednesday, October 5, 7pm, at Pianos NYC (158 Ludlow at Stanton)!

Over and out. Dandelions in bullet holes.
